In connection with the Mongolian National University of Medical Sciences declaring the 2024-2025 academic year as the Year of Personal Development, the Medical School in Darkhan-Uul has launched a sub-program for teacher development. As part of this initiative, the school’s Research and Information Technology Department has established an “English Room” in the library, equipped with electronic devices and English language books and textbooks.
This room, which seats 10 people, aims to provide an environment for improving teachers’ English language skills, making productive use of free time between classes for teachers and students, and enhancing opportunities for teamwork and peer learning. The room was inaugurated with a “Pearson” English language online training session for teachers, organized in collaboration with the Department of Basic Sciences. Departments and offices will participate in this training according to a schedule.
