Darkhan Medical School MNUMS has successfully organized the second conference of nursing educators on September 20, 2019 under the topic "REFORM OF NURSING EDUCATION" in order to meet the implementation of "Global strategy for nursing education" by WHO and discuss reforms in curriculum and contents for nursing teaching. The conference is held on the initiative by The Ministry of Health of Mongolia and on the support of finance and techniques by WHO. It has covered the participation of educators, department heads, deans of all colleges and universities which provide nursing education in Mongolia such as MNUMS, Nursing school MNUMS, Darkhan Medical School MNUMS, Gobi-Altai Medical school MNUMS, Dornogobi Medical school MNUMS, Mongolian National University, International University of Ulaanbaatar, Etugen university, Enerel Institute, Global Leadership University, Newly Coded Medicine University, Mongolian University of Pharmaceutical Sciences.
Among speeches by every institution about the current situation of nursing education, S.Altanbagana, a senior officer Medical care division of The Ministry of Health of Mongolia and G.Hulan, PhD in nursing, a senior instructor in nursing school of MNMUS, have propounded presentations about global strategy for nursing education, its requirements, as well as the current situation of nursing education- its global perspective. In the afternoon session of the conference, the participants were divided into groups to exchange their opinions on "Basic content of nursing science, curriculum and contents of textbooks".
