On August 14, 2023, Professors Naoko Hikita and Kiyoko Mizuhata, who are in charge of the Obstetrics Program of Dokkyo Medical University, Tochigi Prefecture, Japan, visited the Medical School in Darkhan-Uul a Province of MNUMS as well as held a meeting on the effective continuation of collaborative activities.
Within the framework of the visit, 2 collaborative projects in the fields of obstetrics and gynecology will be implemented.
It includes:
• Survey of the current status of obstetric care services for mothers during Labor in some regions of Mongolia, 2023 – 2024
• Study on the obesity status of pregnant women in Mongolia, 2024-2025 The study of the first collaborative project has been successfully started by the obstetrics and gynecology teachers of the Darkhan Medical School
