The “CAPPING AND PINNING CEREMONY,” aimed at instilling the values of nursing science founder Florence Nightingale’s theories, concepts, and legacy in students, was held on September 24, 2024. This event is designed to help nursing students appreciate the value of their profession, embrace compassion and care as the essence of their work, uphold strict discipline and responsibility, and become professionals who prioritize ethics. The ceremony also aims to foster pride in the nursing profession and develop a sincere attitude toward helping clients. 98 students from the Nursing and Nurse programs participated in the event, donning white caps, lighting candles, and taking the student oath.
The ‘CAPPING AND PINNING CEREMONY’ was organized by the Nursing Department and the Training Department of the Medical School in Darkhan-Uul of MNUMS, in collaboration with the Nursing Department of the Darkhan-Uul General Hospital. The ceremony was attended by senior teachers of the Nursing Department, a clinical professor, and associate professor Amarjargal.Kh, and representatives of the Nursing Department of the General Hospital, extended their congratulations and best wishes to the students studying in the nursing profession.
